Mit Bus und Bahn in die Zukunft

At the conference “Mit Bus und Bahn in die Zukunft” at the TU Berlin on March 22, 2018, Prof. Dr. Sahin Albayrak presented the digital test track for autonomous driving in urban areas in his lecture “Autonomous driving: the future of public transport?” And pointed to the combination of different mobility services. He emphasized that the autonomous vehicles need digitized and networked roads. In addition, he pointed out that people need to come in contact with the autonomous vehicle and the digital test track to test it and see.
At the public conference public transport was discussed in the area of tension between automation, social standards and customer expectations.
