More than 300 participants took part in the premiere of Bitkom’s Digital Mobility Conference on November 27, 2017 in the Classic Remise Berlin. There was discussion about the mobility of the future. Prof. Sahin Albayrak, founder and director of the DAI Laboratory of the TU Berlin, and Aria Etemad, Senior Project Manager Automated Driving / Volkswagen Group Research, spoke on the stage about the development of autonomous driving. Mr Albayrak introduced the digital test track for autonomous urban driving (DIGINET-PS) and Mr Etemad outlines aspects of the development side of automated driving. The conversation highlighted the challenges, needs and goals of autonomous driving.
