The DIGINET-Cloud provides a global view of the complete test field, enabling holistic observation and administration as well as the provision of data and services from and to different stakeholders. Thus, a new ecosystem is established.
Intelligent Cloud
Computing power and memory
Processing and storage of large amounts of data
The DIGINET-Cloud obtains its data from all extended Roadside Units (eRSUs) installed along the route. Application-specific information can also be transmitted via direct communication with the vehicles. A powerful server infrastructure with associated computing clusters and storage systems is available for data analysis and the persistent storage of large amounts of data.
Machine learning
Prognoses for decentralized decision-making
The software-stack in the cloud aggregates, stores and analyzes the data so that the historical, current and future view of the entire route is provided via appropriate interfaces. Based on such interfaces, various services and applications can be developed and offered using tools. One such application is, e.g. the control center, which visualizes all components and data of the test route via different views on a map and offers intervention options.
